Playtime with Polly

Last weekend I went through all of the toys and got rid of the Polly Pockets that were recalled. Now that they are nicely organized Ella knows just where to find them every morning. And every morning this is what I find, when after I haven't heard her for awhile and my motherly instinct tells me that I better check on her. I'm loving that she will sit and play with them while we are waiting to go get Elise from school and Easton is napping. I just wish she wouldn't have to dump every single one out on the floor. It has become habit for me to say "hurry and shut your door, before Easton goes in your room." And every night while she is taking a bath you know where to find me, picking up ALL of the Polly Pockets!

Thoughtful Easton

Easton is so thoughtful. He knows how busy I am when it is time to put Ella down for a nap that he just helps himself to a snack and it's so nice to go into the bathroom and already have the toilet paper unrolled for you. I mean what a time saver to not have to unroll it yourself!

1st Day of School

How to get ready for your 1st day of Kindergarten:

1. Wear a cute outfit.
2. Make sure to have a High School Musical homework folder with Troy Bolton on it!!
3. Smile while your Mom takes a ton of pictures, like she is never going to see you again (Mom, I'll be home in like 2 hours).
4. Don't forget your princess backpack.

Weekend Project

In order to get Elise ready for the first day of school I thought it might be a good idea to organize her room.

Back to School Pool Party

My friends and I got our kids together for a Pizza/Swim party yesterday. I can't believe summer is coming to an end and school is starting Monday.

Loose Tooth

Elise lost her second tooth this week which was a big deal in our house since she swallowed her 1st one while eating chicken strips. She keeps asking me if her friends will know who she is because she thinks she looks different. Not different..... just more beautiful!!!
