Poor Easton

Poor Easton has been teething lately and feeling so crummy. Last week I gave him some medicine and set him up in front of the T.V. and after a while he was so quiet that I peeked around the corner to check on him and this is what I saw. Poor little guy.

Lunch W/ Bathing Suit Ballerina & Snow White

While I'm making the kids lunch I usually tell them to go down in the basement and play so I can get it ready and then when it's almost ready I have them come upstairs and sit at the table so I can bring it to them. This is what I turned around to one day as I was bringing them their plates. Ella had on her bathing suit with a ballet skirt on and Easton was dressed in our snow white dress. I was a little caught off guard. I have to say that I think Easton makes a pretty cute Snow White. It just cracks me up the way their little minds work. It was so funny.

Bathtub = Playtub

We have an oval tub in our new place and Easton and Ella both love playing in it everyday while I'm showering and getting ready. They drag whatever toy they are playing with at the moment into the tub including their bedding. Most days it's used as an airplane, but they also love walking around the tub mostly because then they are tall enough to see themselves in the mirror. Some days it would be nice just to take a bath without an audience, but sometimes it's nice to know right where they are when I'm in the shower. Then I'm not hurrying worrying about what they are doing and what mess I will have to clean up when I'm out.

On to the Capitol

When my Mom came to visit a couple of weeks ago we pulled Elise out of school (seemed like a good reason to miss a day) and took the kids to the State Capitol. My Mom has a thing for visiting state capitols of the cities she visits so we were happy to tag along. After the capitol we went down to the 16th street mall and had lunch. Where I also got a ticket for not having a front license plate on my car. I paid the ticket, but still don't have a front license plate on my car. I'm not even sure I know where it is. Need less to say I will not be parking downtown again until I find it. But we still had fun.
