Our Disneyland Vacation

We had a great 3 days at Disneyland this year. It was a little crowded, but the weather was beautiful. The tea cups ended up being Ella's favorite ride so we rode it 6 times. After we dragged Elise on the cars, she ended up riding them 4 or 5 times. I would have to say that Easton loved Buzz Lightyear. As the girls cried the ENTIRE time, he just stared in awe. The Princess Fantasy Faire is always a favorite and this year the girls got their faces painted, which they loved. Another highlight for the girls was dancing in the High School Musical parade. I don't know what it is about Disneyland, but I just love going there. I always get teary eyed during the parade and fireworks. We can't wait until next year. DisneyWorld here we come!

Happy Birthday Elise!

Elise turned 6 on Friday and we had her party last night. She couldn't decide on a Princess theme or a High School Musical theme. So we had a Princess party where all the girls came in their dresses and we did their make-up and painted their nails. Corbin's mom also came dressed up as a princess, which the girls thought was so fun. She also decorated Elise's cake. Elise loved having her picture right next to Troy's. As you can see from the pictures of Easton it was very yummy! A huge thank you to Corbin's mom for also making and bringing all the decorations for the cookies. The girls loved decorating their own Halloween cookies. It was so great to once again have Grandma Gloria with us and also my two best friends from High School, Bernice and Maribeth, with their families. Between the three of us we have 10 kids! I am so grateful to have such loving support from friends and family. It may seem like just a birthday party to some, but to me it is the memories that we are making together as a family. These are the times that we will never forget. Thank you for coming and for celebrating this special occasion with us. Happy Birthday to our first born! We love you!

Grandma Gloria

My Grandma just moved back to Las Vegas after living in Texas for the last 10 years. It makes me sad that we are moving soon. I have loved having her over for dinner lately and getting to know her more. She has been in and out of the hospital lately, but has finally gotten her strength back and is looking a lot better. Ella and Easton got a kick out of riding on her knee when she was over this week.

More Halloween Crafts

Okay I promise I am done with the Halloween crafts. Well, Elise has a couple more she needs to do for school, but after that we are done. I am crafted out. Here are pictures of our origami bats, our table top haunted house (made from tissue boxes), and our milk jug ghosts. The picture didn't turn out very good, but they look really cute at night with our Halloween lights in them. Our house is officially all decked out for Halloween.

Tiny Tots Sports

Ella loves her Tiny Tots Sports class at the community center twice a week. She was so excited when we walked in last week and Coach Wendy has set up this obstacle course. She loved trying to stay on the balance beams and climbing over everything else.

Halloween Crafts

I love my Family Fun magazine. They have the cutest crafts for kids and they are ones that are not too hard that usually use things you have around the house. The girls loved painting their pumpkins. Mostly they loved mixing all the paint together. I also thought that their footprint ghosts turned out really cute. They especially loved having their feet painted.

Bathtime

The three reasons I try to give my kids baths everyday.

#1 A five year old that has recess and Cheerleading.
#2 A two year old that is Potty Training.
#3 A one year old that uses his head as a napkin for every meal.
