We had a really great Easter weekend. Corbin's parents drove from Las Vegas to visit for Corbins' Mom's birthday and all the Easter fun. They got here on Thursday so we had a little party at home for her with pizza and brownies, then Friday we went out to eat and had the whole family together. It was such a blast. Landin and Jazmin even drove over from Provo. On Saturday we took the kids to IHOP for the "Horton Hears a Who", breakfast. One of the sweet sisters that I visit teach works there and was able to wait on us. She is so sweet, I just love her. Then we went to see the movie. It was so cute. I love the motto, "A persons a person no matter how small." Very cute! Saturday night the boys went to the NCAA Basketball games so we colored eggs with the girls and watched "Enchanted". Sunday was such a beautiful day. If you look closely at the pictures of the kids with their Easter baskets you can see snow outside. It snowed Saturday night, so it was a little weird waking up to snow on Easter. Definitely a first for our family, but by noon all the snow had melted and it was a perfect day! We got up early so the kids could find their Easter baskets and to attend Alan and DeAnne's ward. Logan gave a talk and Lindsay sang the most beautiful song. Everyone was crying. After church we went back to the Smith's house and had an Easter Egg Hunt and a yummy dinner. Mom and I were in charge of the Frog Eyed Salad and dessert, so we made a really cute Bunny Cake. It was a huge hit. Corbin's parents left on Monday and it was so hard to say goodbye again. Poor Elise had to say goodbye right before I took her to school. She cried the whole way to school and then right before she got out of the car she said, "It's okay Mom, I'm okay." I kept her home from school on Friday so that she could hang out with Grandma so all her friends came up to her and gave her a big hug. She really needed that. It was such a nice visit and we can't wait to see them again.
