My Mom decided to come visit this weekend and she has been dying to go to the zoo. So when our friends Danny & Amber invited us on Saturday we were so excited. We decided to go to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs about 40 minutes away. Corbin was sadly doing an Open House so he couldn't go. It was beautiful and the weather was perfect. The zoo is tucked up into the mountain and overlooked the whole city. Our first stop were the Giraffes. We must of fed them for about 30 minutes. There were about 20 of them including 3 babies. Ella was a little scared, but Easton was so excited until they actually took his cracker, then he wasn't too happy. After we ate our picnic lunch we headed over to the Hippos and Gorrillas. It felt so good to be outside. It was a great day!

that looks so fun!! that makes me want to go to the zoo. Bryns and Stocky were looking at your pics saying how different your kids looked. We need to see you guys soon. Brynlee tells me she can't wait until summer because that is when Elise comes for a week!!
Oh how fun! I wish we had good zoo here. We have an old one off Rancho, but nothing fun like this! My boys would love this.
