Last week we visited the Butterfly Pavilion with Elise's class for her end of year field trip. The first thing we did was listen to a short lesson about insects and other small creatures. Ella was very brave and petted a Madagascar hissing cockroach. Elise and I passed. But when it was time to go and see the Butterflies Ella freaked. However Elise was very brave and held Rosy the tarantula. Both of which I passed on. I better toughen up with a boy around, but the kids had a great time. Their favorite part was the underwater animals and the play area. This was actually our second visit there and we really enjoyed it. Okay they really enjoyed it.
